Find a Coach That Actually Teaches
Let’s be honest, social media isn’t always the best place to get solid health and wellness advice. Between the questionable transformations, aggressive marketing, and endless “hacks,” it’s easy to feel like you’re falling behind or doing it all wrong.
But here’s the truth- we don’t have to listen to all the noise and play their games.
Most of what is found online is designed to sell a product and not to support people’s goals.
Focused advice on quick fixes, extreme workout plans, might look impressive in a 30-second video, but they rarely offer sustainable and safe results. Instead of feeling motivated, many of us leave feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, or misled.
Real health and wellness results don’t come from shortcuts. They come from clarity, consistency, and a plan that’s built around “you”. It must be this way to improve our body, achieve goals, and create a long-lasting lifestyle.
The need to find a thoughtful coach can make all the difference.
A good coach doesn’t hand us a fixed plan and then disappear. They listen, ask questions, and help figure out what actually works in the context of our daily life and the obstacles we need to overcome.
A coach should never aim to be perfect, just to teach, support, and guide us in building habits that will last.
We don’t need to become someone else’s version of healthy. And we don’t need to live up to an influencer’s idea of what we should be.
What we do need is to stay in touch with what truly matters to us and give ourselves the time and space to grow.
The wellness industry won’t stop selling hype. But we can stop buying it.
Focus on progress over perfection. And if you want guidance, choose someone who helps you lead your own path and to not follow theirs.
Live well.
